My autumn fruiting raspberries have curled and deformed leaves which seem to contain an insect.What is this and can I treat it and will it harm the raspberries

Afternoon Wessie, sorry you haven't had an answer, but it looks as if you have us all beat!

How long is the grub, this might help in it's identity?

it's about 10 - 15mm long, someone suggested it might be a fly maggot?
