How many times when transplanting has the bag of compost fallen over, or the plastig bag closed just as you try and plunge in the scoop or your hand?

Did you know, the Council recycling bin holds a bag of compost beautifully, and a lid to stop it drying out! Can be used for correct purpose when finished transplanting. 8) Cheers, Tony.

Hi Tony,

Sounds like a plan :)

Depends where you live though, as we have a wheelie bin for garden rubbish, and a small box for recycling.
Cheers PJ.

I'm just off down the greenhouse. I won't be long...........

Indeed, PJ.

I don't think we'd gain much by enlisting the aid of this little fellow - our Gwynedd council blue box!

Our small green box for plastic and glass is a nuisance. The plastic blows out all over even when it is only breezy and usually with us being in a corner ends up on our garden.

I do get angry at all the litter generally that is all over the place - it's not only unsightly but dangerous to wildlife

To stop the compost bag falling over. Give it a good shake before you open it so the contents settle to the bottom. It will stand up right then. I put mine on a plant trolley so I can pull and push it out from under the potting bench and no heavy lifting.

Beryl.
