Hi Allen - Thanks for that, brought a smile to my face.
Just joined this forum today, layout looks similar to UK Workshop (For woodworkers) and if the people are just as nice & knowledgible it'll be well worth my looking in from time time. We are rennovating our holiday / retirement home in a forrest in Eastern Europe & having some probs. with growing things so I'll likely be asking a lot of questions
Regards
Before we all close on this one, try taking the 'tail' off that URL and see what else you find on the links.
That International Dark Sky Association is a good idea, so much of our modern lighting is throwing away energy and at the same time making life difficult for astrnomers. Surely it makes sense to think about all this before adding to the light pollution of the night sky by putting up yet another 'security' light.
If anyone wants a mirror telescope and software etc.I bought one from Aldi, it's as new, I never did use it. Cost about £40, a bargain. half that will do nicely.
