Does anyone's allotment association have a policy on polytunnels? Yes/No? Size limit? Positioning? We have had a few requests for polytunnels this year and they are causing a bit of controversy - "eyesores" etc?
Thanks.

There are no polytunnels on the allotments where I am, nor on one of the other set in the town (I don't go past the largest set so can not comment on them).
At the same time there are rules regarding structures, so size of sheds are limited and the size of greenhouses is also limited.
I doubt that polytunnels would be approved on that basis, not specifically because they are polytunnels.

Nothing is foolproof to a sufficiently talented fool.
