Can anyone please tell me how many dig for victory leaflets were issued during ww II, also can copy's be bought ?

Hi Kevin,
If my memory serves me correctly it is 12 copies.
Somewhere in my small archive of books I have all of them. I cannot promise but if I find them I'll send them to you to copy and return.
I looked last year but failed to find them but I'll have another go for you.

There are some of the leaflets around our house somewhere too...as collected by my late father.

Here is a crop ...from a postcard in my collection of views of my work location.

Two beds of the formal front garden are shown that historically have been filled with Catmint. However, there seems in this view to be a partial take over by vegetables.?.. We have always assumed that this was the Field Marshall Sir doing his bit for Dig for Victory.?

Hello Kevin,
Sorry, I know nothing about such greenhouse heaters... I could see though that I soon could.!! Perhaps best I don't spend too much time pondering on them because the garage and shed are full of collected items all in need of attention..

Greenhouses with the old heating pipes certainly do have a fascination for me....a visit to West Dean a few years was really amazing... We were heading for Weald and Downland Museum but then I spotted the West Dean gardens sign..so we detoured next door.
Hot water did play a part in the day....Rover 200 K Series head gasket failure...home on the back of a lorry.

I don't know whether the Imperial War Museum might have some reproductions. It's a place I keep promising myself I will visit, but many of these places have a shop where memorabilia and reproductions are sold. They may have a website where stuff can be ordered online.
