Hi folks.

If I wanted to extend the cropping season in my greenhouse, how late could I leave the sowing ? If I remember right, last year, as with the year before, mine were over by late August, and it would be nice to extend this somewhat.

Cheers...Freddy.

Evenig Freddy, i would have thought you could sow up to the beggining of June, you might just have to ripen the last of them inddors.
Kind Regards, Old Herbaceous.

.

About June time take side shoot cuttings, they root very easily, grow on quicker than seed sown ones and give a very good crop into November here for me in Gloucester.

Cheers

Hi folks, thanks for the replies.

A couple of options there, something to ponder on. What I'll probably do is try both methods.

Cheers...Freddy.
