Leeks

Whilst digging up some leeks this morning, found a ladybird alive and well.

I found some whilst weeding last week so moved them onto plants overwintering in my shed.

I often place early emerging Ladybirds, into the greenhouse to eat any early emerging Aphids.

I wonder if they are the same ones, that are trying to get out of the greenhouse, and i keep returning them.

I don't know if whitefly are in their diet, but have plenty on my overwintering cabbage.

No, i don't think Ladybirds do eat Whitefly, ShallotMan, it's probably down to the waxy coating they seem to have.

Nothing seems to eat whitefly - more's the pity!
