Does anyone have a recipe for mixing their own potato and onion fertilizers?

Hi Snooky,

These have been taken from my copy ( 1961 ) of the RHS Vegetable Garden Displayed.
I used the spuds one last year with good results.

Spuds

The land should be dressed at planting time with 2lb of mixed fertilizer to a 30 ft row as follows, (1 part of sulphate of ammonia, 2 parts of superphosphate, and 1 part of sulphate potash)

Half pound ammonia - One pound superphosphate - Half pound sulphate potash = 2lb

Onion sets,

Do not apply manure to this crop, but the ground should be dressed with 3oz of superphosphate and 1oz of sulphate of potash per square yard 10 to 14 days before planting

I do not know if this works with onions from seed ?

Hope this helps

Regards
