After a heavy cold, also known as man flu!! i am going to venture out, move some logs and stuff around the garden. Then maybe go up the plot and pulls some leeks etc. Brrrr !! But I know it makes sense and will clear the tubes

If I am not on the plot, I am not happy.........

Belated Happy New Year from me. First day for a week I've felt like computing, don't usually gets colds or flu but I've had a grim bug with streaming eyes and nose and aches all over but feeling a little more human today.

Happy New Year folks. Sorry it's late. Lyndon has had pneumonia since late September and only our visit to Cornwall at Christmas until New Year has moved this on.

Hopefully we will have a change for the next year.

Happy New Year.

Thank you OH. he's got to be better, we came home from holiday to burst pipes, so he's going to be busy for the next few months! One of the few benefits of working away from home during the week is that I can avoid helping out, except at weekends.

Hello Tigger,

how awful, I do hope he is fully recovered now. That must have been very worrying for you.
Kind regards,

Elle

Thank you. He's getting there.

I don't have any family left and I just have him, the dog and the cat.

Jess - cat - is something like 22 and leads a charmed, feral, existence as the last of 6 felines of a group. Jess is largely anti - male but has recently come to love Lyndon. He is totally smitten by her need for a variety of foods. We shop according to what she likes!

Sige - dog - will be 10 in June so is another pensioner. She has been a star as a Brittany - something like a Springer on speed. The last few months have seen her slow down and the vet thought she may have Cushings or a Thyroid problem. After £600 worth of tests, we know she"s fine. Just 3 KG overweight so she's been on a restricted diet and is back to being the dog we love and recognise as the mad hooligan mut.

I realise I should mention him indoors - Lyndon - who I believe has now recovered from pneumonia. GP will see him this week but he is definitely better and I don't think a fourth prescription of anti-biotics will help.

Hopefully he will get back to his usual self and our GP will sign him off this week.
