Hi all,

What on earth have you lot done to the weather :)
I go away for 2 weeks and come back to freezing temperatures. Almost couldn't get back from Heathrow on wednesday morning.
I've been used to 80f daytime and 67f night temps, so it is a bit of a shock to the system to way the least :lol:
Lots of amazing bird, insect, and plant life. I'll post some pics soon. I took almost 700 of which only 120 were of the family.
First time I've seen one of the grand kids. He is one of the two adoptions that have finally been completed. Hopefully they can all come back to the UK soon. Hope the weather warms up a bit before they do though :D

Glad you had a great time while away, and can't wait to see some photographs of the holiday.

My colleague just got back from a week away for her cousin's wedding in Sri Lanka. :)

She has been complaining about the cold just a little bit this week. :wink:

Hi PJ Glad to see you are home safely. Yes the weather is a bit of a shock to the system when you come home after such wonderful temperatures.

I remember when we went to visit my sister who lives in Zambia and we came home from three weeks away to really cold weather and we were in shorts and tshirts. Ohhhh.

Congratulations on a new grand child. Look forward to the photos.

It's been a long three year process for the adoptions, but finally they are completed. Just waiting for the settlement visas now :)

Have you acclimatized to the weather yet?

Bet they thought you were mad when you exited the silver bird this end, in shorts and sandals. :)

Gradually getting used to the temperature again. Mind you, it is back to the rain today, and most of the snow has gone :D
I think I was looked on as mad in Uganda for going around photographing plants, birds and insects :lol:

Your photos are wonderful PJ I have really enjoyed looking at them. I know what you mean about going for two and wishing it was four.
