my aged parent was grumbling sunday, expected the clocks to go go back... "theyve gone back on the 3rd weekend in october for years". he wasnt that impressed when i told him the eu had standardised the change on the last sunday for the whole of europe for the foreseeable future... "another example of brussels poking their noses in where theyve no need to" is a rough translation of the response :D
i was sorely tempted to give him a book ive just read that gives a good argument for us to stop mucking about and get in the euro....but he didnt have a bottle of blood pressure pills with him :D

I was gifted some Autumn Bliss raspberries from another plot holder a few days ago. So, yesterday morning I dug them up from his plot and transferred them to mine. By 9.30 I was finished and had a nice 18ft row of them.
I transferred myself then onto my chair with a well earned coffee :D
Cheers PJ.

I'm just off down the greenhouse. I won't be long...........

There's something very satsifying about planting fruit canes, bushes or trees.
It must be the thought of looking forward to the rewards in years to come. :)

Unlike this forum at the moment, that seems to be nothing but bickering and snide remarks on so many topics.
Now it might just be me, but i think it is spoiling a very good forum.
Kind Regards, Old Herbaceous.

Good morning OH,

It's not just you.
I sometimes think that the amount of hot air produced by the same 3 or 4 protagonists going around in ever decreasing circles, could fuel climate change on their own :)
Cheers PJ.

PJ, I'm leading with my chin again, regarding my comments, but i would far rather let people know my thoughts, than sit here moaning to myself. :)

Much better to do that OH than to just disappear from the forum, which it seems quite a few have done recently :(
Cheers PJ.

Arriving at Welwyn RFC in plenty of time for my U17 teams friendly match, thus looking in here from the carpark! ;) :)

I've been on Holiday. it seems Nature's Babe is not "Flavour of the Month".
It seems a shame to me, I don't see her posts as preaching, merely informing.

Evening Westhamron, i don't think a finger was being pointed at any one person, there were lots of people involved, but we have now moved on. :)
