Yes.

Any radish can be allowed to go to seed and the green pods eaten raw. Rat-tails are just longer pods. Whatever variety you grow it does make a very tall plant - a metre or more and floppy.

Drat  . I have thrown away some radish that had gone to seed. What does it taste like?

Anyone know the best variety for flavour, I like strong and spicy, and I understand they pickle well too.
Sit down before a fact as a little child, be prepared to give up every preconcieved notion, follow humbly wherever and to whatever abyss nature leads, or you shall learn nothing.
