We could certainly do with a sunny day or three - no way is the lawn going to get cut in the next few days, but then, our area of the village was a marsh a long time ago...

After heavy rain in the morning, sunshine in the afternoon and a gorgeous sunset tonight. We could almost see the witches dancing on Pendle Hill, 13 miles to our west, against the brilliant orange sky! That promises a good day tomorrow.

Week off to garden, fat chance.

Today I raised the working height of my workshop bench from 31" to 38" by lengthening the legs.
Thank heavens for the hydraulic bottlejack.
