Have any of you used a hidden surveillance camera at your allotment to try and catch a thief? We are looking into this and would welcome any advice on the type of model that you are using and where we might be able to buy one. Looked at loads, but none of them appear to be relevant for outdoor use on allotment in poor lighting conditions aimed at catching thieves!!!
Thanks.

Seems a shame you haven't had a reply. Afraid I don't know anything about cctv but if you suspect externals rather than other plot holders perhaps a sign (CCTV in Operation 24 hours) and a couple of pir triggered solar powered lights might help.
We have the same problems on our plot and we are thinking of a wildlife or trail camera. This is a camera which takes pictures day and night on detection of motion.

I think that this is the best solution because you don't need a electric supply.
