Thank you all belatedly for your birthday wishes. Have only today returned from a week's holiday so lots of threads to catch up with. And Happy Birthday to OH for yesterday, who was generous enough to share his birthday with Princess Anne but didn't get invited on the Scottish Island coastal cruise to celebrate it!
I now have to tackle the picking and preserving and decide what to do with half a dozen cucumbers which were supposed to be "Mini" but have grown to the size of a man's arm! But very relieved to return and find no blight on my tomatoes.
