Just be thankful he doesn't come home with somebody's knickers in his mouth. Now that really would start causing the neighbours to view you with suspicion

Fun? We've got to the point where the first thing I do on arrival home is look around the house, moving the furniture around, before going into the garden for a search for semi dead rodents and stolen property!

As for the gloves, they are dirty so the washing line theory is out.

Knickers

No knickers but the joy of a house full of feathers and a somewhat unstuffed
pidgeon who had clearly eaten a load of peanuts for lunch.

Bleah!

I think I've got a bit confused. Are we still talking about the cat, or Tim?

The images this thread is conjouring up as I lose track.

Tim bounding up the garden with something unmentionable clutched in his mouth as Chantal waits at the kitchen door holding a yard broom, while Fabio hides in the armchair knitting pink socks!

Or have I got mixed up?

Sounds about right for my house.

All quiet as the rain has stopped play on all counts. I think I'll start a new thread when the next incident occurs, to avoid confusion.
