Hi Alan Refail
My wife and I are thinking about having few days at Lake Bala in June. Any suggestions on accommodation, places to eat etc? Not the Ritz, but a bit above average would be nice. I have looked at the website, with its list of B&Bs - problem is they all look good!
Thanks if you can help. John N.

Hi John

I'm afraid Bala is a bit out of our "square mile" - and living here we don't have any experience of staying anywhere but at home.

Sorry

Hi John,
I am the same as Alan. I am about the same distance the other side of Bala to Alan and thankfully in England.
What I can say is that you would be extremely unlucky if you picked a bad place in that neck of the wood. Say what I will about the Welsh  they are very great hosts!
Probably the best thing is to contact the Welsh Tourist Board.
JB.
