PETER. Now that you have coached me into how to forward funnies to the KG site, where does one get an avatar from ! resident moron computer operator, shallotman

Shallot Man - if you go to User Control Panel (look up top left) and click on that, then click on Profile, then click on Edit Avatar - you can then either link to a picture from your hard-drive or you can select on from the web.

Try saving the attached file to your PC, then uploading it as your avatar.

Now, what is strange, is that in my profile my avatar is still there.
When I post the avatar shows as missing, but when I look back later at my ealier posts I can see it. For instance I can now see my avatar from my earlier post in this thread, but when I press submit I think I won't.
Update: just posted and both avatars are gone, but when I come back later they are here (for me). Any clues anyone
further update: I went to a different thread that I posted it and I can see my avatar, came back here and it shows here too. Are you still not seeing it?
