Anyone got anything organised near them?
Our wonderful lady Vice-Chairman of the Rugby Club, Ros (AKA the Rosweiler) has organised my Rugby Club, the Running Club, The Boxing Club, the Squash Club and others into the "Silver Leys Mile" tomorrow. Various lengths of run, with three different start times for each, Boxing, Rugby, Squash and other stuff.
If she can get £2000 sponsorship Ros is going to fight the Owner of the Boxing Club!
One of our 4th team players is dressing up in the Saracens Camel mascot suit and running 6 miles! To quote him this morning "6 miles in a **ddin great Saracens camel suit has to be worth a few quid to charity."
If you agree then go on http://www.sportrelief.com web site and click sponsor/donate ..... search for Chris Byatt and Sponsor his Camel efforts!!!!
Sport Relief events.

Hi Tigger,
I am taking part this morning and although I cannot run any longer I shall,
stick in hand, WALK to the pub (well part of the way). Now this is 2.5 miles and I have got it arranged to be picked up at a certain point along the way. If not the pub will be closed by the time I get there! Knowing who is going to pick me up he will draw alongside and as I go to get into the car he will drive off laughing! Then hopefully return!
JB.
PS. Three cheers for SMITHY!

Well, they both did it.
Diddy managed his six miles in a Camel suit and then played in an exhibition rugby match afterwards.
Ros got her £2000 sponsorship and took to the ring, hilarious as her opponent bit her glove and hung on like a terrier with a rat, while she was cuffing him round the bonce. Much advice to be un-ladylike and use the knees or a low punch.
A lady of ninety did the mile twice (puched by relatives in a wheelcahir) and insisted each time on walking the last hundred yards.
My son played a tough rugby match at 11am, we drove back and he promptly did a three mile run.
