Just bought the Government reprint of the 1945 'Garden Guide' £9.99 but £5.98 postage free on line. Most interesting can recommend it.

I looked on Amazon. Is it "Allotment and Garden Guide: A Monthly Guide to Better Wartime Gardening" by Twigs Way? It has a picture of a man on the cover, striding out, fork over his shoulder, smoking a pipe.
