Apparently, Hull has had visits from the Google van recently...I haven't had look yet though. I only caught the end of the item Radio Humberside was doing.
Cheers.
Happy with my lot

It would be nice to see your charming cottage with roses and honeysuckle growing over your porch roof, Elaine. :)

Hi Elaine

I think Hull has been pretty comprehensively done, as you will see if you go to this LINK and move the little yellow man onto the map.

I´m staying in Berlin at the moment, and I was shocked to learn that the whole of Germany cannot be seen with street view. They have said no to google, and won´t allow them to do it here, maybe incase they see that there is all this unwanted gold in the forests!. I guess for me, (coming from Australia...how worldy I am haha) its so nice to be able to go on there and see home...see the beaches. I don´t think there´s such a problem with the privacy of it, but it was interesting to hear about Germany. Are there any other countries which you can´t see? (Besides the obvious - I´m sure you can´t look at China or North Korea)

A friend of mine was driving down the M32 in Bristol when he saw the big Google van coming the other way.

Sure enough a week or so later, he found a picture of himself driving his car from that spot.

Hi Gfruit

In fact most of the world isn't covered.

Here's a typical picture of the Netherlands/German border.
