Morning Alan, the lantern is put away, but not the snow shovel. :)

I was a little late up this morning, a delivery that was meant to be here at 6 pm, finally arrived at 1am, and by the time it was unloaded i didn't get to bed till just after 2am.
Kind Regards, Old Herbaceous.

Well come on OH, we're all intrigued to know what you had delivered in the wee small hours.

A new Morgan Aero 8?

Crack cocaine?

A baby?

Can't say too much, but she's got lovely tapering legs and i've had my hands in her draws this morning.

Sorry that should have read, drawers.
So a couple of pieces of old furniture was what i took delivery of. :)

When the delivery blokes left me, they were driving up to Scotland for a drop off this morning. And they had been on he road since the early morning, utter madness.
Kind Regards, Old Herbaceous.

If they were driving anything over 3.5 tonne, probably illegal,as well. unless they split the driving.

They were sharing the driving and it might have been under 3.5 tonne to save the tacho, but thats a lot of driving.

They were a good laugh though.

What's all this Sunshine business.??!!..cloudy old lot over this way..again.

I did see a large golden ball on the horizon on my way home on Friday...as I headed towards it it went and hid behind a bank of cloud and then slipped away...
Friday saw just rain and more rain...had the day potting up sales stuff..and raked out some drain gullies at the Church..on a wander around around to escape the shed for a few minutes..
Saturday morning saw a much sharper frost than was expected....later the pattern for the day was foggy drizzle..

Bit dryer today..though still very grey and overcast..wonder if a bit of digging may go..??..

Clive.

I took your tip and watched, Geoff. What a lot I learned: the Ribble apparently rises in Todmorden, flows down to Hebden Bridge, then miraculously spirits itself over the Pennines to Clitheroe and thence to the sea
And its valley is home to the Rochdale canal
Oh, and Hebden Bridge is in Lancashire

What a mishmash of misconceived misinformation :!:
