Son number one was there yesterday, climbing. It took him seven hours to get home because of the snow!

Hi Glallotments. Oh what a brilliant photo!

Assuming it is the Song Thrush telling the Blackbird about it being "nice in Wales", what do you think Blackie's response is....going by the expression on his face?
Cheers!
Happy with my lot

I'm sat here instead of at work this morning....I seem to be getting to be a bit of a wimp :? ... but I have some weeks of holiday in stock...but not sure if I'm on holiday, or snowed off.

Frequent snow showers here this morning..and it is tending to blow about a bit in the breeze....

We did actually achieve a bit of digging yesterday at work by virtue of the moving some bundles of Pea sticks that were still laying on the vegetable garden border and also removing some Carrot fleece.. The wall fruit trees got new tie strings first...this job inspected by our ladder climbing resident cat Committee Kittee.

Previous day was a tidy of potting shed...it was well ready for a tidy  ..and then we had a chain saw up of accumulated logs to give us supply for the shed stove. :) ...

Hi Clive,

You're close to use - Lincolnshire had escaped the worst of the snow in January until now - but we're getting it today.

Some heavy snow showers running through - but we're busy trying to persuade Steve into doing some winter gardening videos - without much success ;)

We could supply a nice tidy shed with glowing wood stove for a seed catalogue ordering video shoot.....

..and yesterday I could have done a how not to tighten up a bar nut on a chainsaw.

Could get fed up with snowy pictures. Walked a bit further today - Big Stone of Fourstones with Lake District in the background and Ingleborough.

Geoff what a fabulous picture. We walked to this stone on the way back home in the summer and it was wonderful sitting there in the sun with such wonderful views. I am suprised that the road was open as it is very exposed.

I walked there - about 2½ miles. The Slaidburn Road seemed to be open but I would not have used it, saw a couple of tractors and a 4x4. The side roads were even worse, only saw tractors on those.
