I was given £100 worth of garden vouchers, so today, all excited i ventured to the garden centre. Now you will probably find this very hard to believe but i came back empty handed.
The problem i found was, the plants i either grow myself or can buy them wholesale for under half the price, i have all the tools i need, i have already bought all my seeds and nothing really shone out at me.

In hindsight i should of had a little think prior to going, as there will be something i want, especially when they clear all the wretched Christmas decorations.

But if anyone could suggest anything i would be very interested.
Kind Regards, Old Herbaceous.

We haven't gone anywhere near the garden centers and won't either, until they have got rid of all the Christmas stuff! :(
I reckon anyone would be hard pushed to find something to buy...unless they were stocking up on Christmas stuff at reduced (by not very much) prices!
Cheers!
Happy with my lot

Evening Codger, when have i ever taken any notice of rules.

Glad i'm not the only one that dislikes all the Christmas related stuff in garden centres, Elaine.

Wonder if they'll have the Pumpkins and Witch masks on the shelves second week of April?

OH, if you are including me in that dynamic duo then I hasten to clarify that I have not been anywhere near a Tesco store today, I picked that gem up from my daily paper.

Today I are mostly bin collectin 'orse poo, two trailer loads in fact. :D

Indeed so OH :D :D

Here's a Tesco joke:

A husband and wife are shopping in Tesco’s when the man picks up a crate of Stella and sticks it into the trolley.

“What do you think you’re doing?” asks the wife.

“They’re on offer, only £10 for 24 cans”, he says.

“Put them back. We can’t afford it,” says the wife and they carry on shopping…

A few aisles later the woman picks up a £20 jar of face cream and sticks it into the trolley.

“What do you think you’re doing?” asks the man.

“It’s my face cream, it makes me look beautiful,” she says.

The man replies… “SO DOES 24 CANS OF STELLA AND IT’S HALF THE PRICE”
