We had our bonfire tonight - delayed by flu. After raining most of the day it started clearing up at about 5 and was a beautiful warm evening with the stars out. I have a tradition of politically incorrect bonfire models so this year's designed itself - not one of my best but you get the point. Pity the two fingers to shareholders and taxpayers don't show up too well.

Today as I stood in the torrential rain, with my dog shivering next to me in her waxed coat, while my son and his team stuffed the opposition 41 -5, despite a ball so slippery you could have stretched it out and called it an eel, I thought of poor Lizzie.

Slaving away in her greenhouse with her fumigation equipment.

Nicotine does kill bugs. :P

Oh no!

The image that has placed in my mind....

Lizzie, on a bicycle, towing a little trailer carrying a:
    little pot-bellied stove
    length of stovepipe
2'x2' metal replacement for a greenhouse glass pane with a hole for the stovepipe
    some kindling
    comfy chair
    "duty-free" pack of cigs
    portable library
    hurricane lamp
    little keg of paraffin
    kettle
    frying pan
    fluffy slippers
The trailer signwritten thus:

"Bizzie Lizzie's Mobile Overnight Greenhouse Fumigation Services"
"We charge one pint of paraffin and a small bundle of kindling per visit and just 4 logs per cubic yard of glasshouse."

I'll take 10% Lizzie. :D

Can anyone tell me, roughly how many onion seed there would be in a gram.

This seems a little funny, asking a question. :)
