Hi KG Admin,

Thanks for that. Had been sending messages to your subscription monitor at DHL Global Mail, but when I received no reply, I found another e-mail address I'd used previously. Rachel answered and is sorting the problem, so hopefully the October issue is on its way as we speak :)

Think you've had postal problems recently, so maybe that's why it went astray.

Well I'm new & waiting to find my "forum legs" before I really join in, enjoy the mag, learning about gardening....

I am listening to advice & reading lots, & tryiing to find the way that suits, bearing in mind that we are a bit South of most people...

Oh yes, thats why I quoted "retropants",

we even get this forum on the Isle of Wight

All I can say is that it is only now the nights are getting darker earlier will you catch me sat at the pc in the evenings instead of out in my garden. Maybe that is true for others as well.

Getting very quiet again :(

At the bottom of the Index page I always see this:

Most users ever online was 108 on Mon Oct 22, 2007 12:13 pm

Those were the days

I'm still here.

I think the 108 users on line figure, came about when the number kept getting added to, and wasn't the true number of people online at one time.

Hope that makes you feel a little better Alan. :)

Perhaps the magazine could make a little bit more propaganda for this forum? I know, not every reader has a computer but if, say, a half page each issue shouted about what's going on here, more people might join. I think in this month's issue there aren't even the usual snippets from the forum which is a shame.

Otherwise, I consider the January issue is the best ever!

I had a problem with the "automatically log me in each visit" features, when it stopped working on my work PC.

They've recently upgraded our web browser and I notice this feature has now started working on that PC again.....

As for the forum, I've seen people come and go on various other forums that I visit. Sometimes it depends on people's circumstances. Also a lot of us who were newbie gardeners a few years back have now managed to cut our teeth and maybe don't need to ask so many questions. In the meantime, many of the old questions are being asked again by the current batch of newbies and some of the longer standing people may not wish or need to chip in again.

I'd just add that it's good to see some of the stalwarts still adding comments from time to time :D
