We had an interesting and exhausting day at the Harrogate Autumn Flower Show today and even saw our trusty editor at the Kitchen Garden stand and the unmissable Medwyn Williams at the largest onion weigh-in! I can't remember the exact weight but it certainly was a whopper although it did not beat the record which has stood since 2005.
The show ground was absolutely packed but all the parking and park-and-ride very smoothly organised, so that everybody seemed to enjoy themselves. It's always great to see the visitors leaving, heaving their various purchases in trolleys and bags.
The Show continues for Saturday and Sunday and is well worth attending!
