My usual radishes, French Breakfast, do OK in the Spring and early Summer, but never seem to flourish from late July-August sowings, despite thepacket saying they can be sown then. Anyone got any advice? Is there an "autumn radish" which would do better? Thanks!

I love Black Spanish Round, which you can sow now up to mid-September. You get a root the size of a large marble andit has a very full taste.
