i was sat having a cup of tea on one of my little old lady's garden benches this morning when something sort of crash landed on the lawn, closer investigation revealed two sort of ginger bumble bees joined at the tail end lying on the grass. the front one was feebly waving it legs about whilst the rear one was sort of twitching, this went one for the ten minutes or so whilst we finished our tea and biscuits, when i checked ten minutes or so later they had both gone. pity id not got a camera with me , neither of us had ever seen bumble bees at it before
