Or "planting" when "sowing" is meant. Plants are planted, seeds are sown.

Allotment holders who are given warnings for the state of the plot, who then put in a couple of hours, look busy and dash off and then do nothing until the next letter comes through.
And then committee's who take this a fresh start and keep them on site when there are waiting lists..............why should I care they are not even next to me on the plot. It does not seem fair when there is a waiting list.
The forerunner to Grumpy old men and women was 'Mr Angry' on the Steve Wright show, he would have it sorted that's for sure.

If I am not on the plot, I am not happy.........
Sorry Compo, but you've just named one of my least favourite things / people: Steve Wright
Second on my list: public toilets where, having washed your hands, you can't leave without having to open a door inwards, which means using the handle that has been touched by all those people who couldn't be bothered to wash theirs.
In my experience, this seems to be all public toilets!

The dumbing down of the English language with the over-use of the more obscene swear words in public:and substituting words such as"gonna","gunna",and "sorta" for the proper words.
