Last year I grew yellow courgettes for the first time and they were fantastic. I only had three plants but loads of fruit. This year as usual I got carried away and I am growing about 8 plants. I am really pleased with the 8 courgettes I have picked so far. They are really juicy plants I have 7 outside and one in the polytunnel. (Aurelia F1) I am going to keep a check on weight this year to see how they progress. Is anyone else growing yellow courgettes? (Jemma F1, Gold Rush F1, Aurelia F1)

I'm growing two types of yellow courgette, Zucchini which I have already harvested from and F1 Atena which is catching up, but did get a bit neglected :(

Goldrush for me three fruits on each plant right now and looking really healthy and vigorous. The taste appears to be no different twixt green and yellow but the yellow are prettier IMHO
If I am not on the plot, I am not happy.........

I think it means in my honest opinion. I dont do this short hand thing or text speak so I am only guessing.

No yellow ones this year as we couldn't find any seed locally that wasn't like £3 for 6 seed. I prefer yellow, thinner skin, milder taste. I'm jealous.

Funny, but I much prefer the deep green types. The yellow ones somehow dont look right to me. Nor those very pale green insipid looking types. Well, we're all different!

Courgette seeds don't have to be expensive :)

Have a look at my favourite seed company Seeds of Italy - any colour you want at reasonable prices. And you could probably search and find cheaper elsewhere.
