CUCUMBER MOSAIC VIRUS

Hi All

I have a couple of cucumber plants in my greenhouse, one of which is a cucino a baby cucumber, the first one looked big enough to pick today and when I inspected it I saw a little bit of something that looked like rust with a possible mosaic pattern.............I cut the fruit and it was a good even shape and tasted fine, is it mosaic virus? I am looking for some good pictures to compare but cannot see real good pics when I google it?

Any ideas.............

Sorry to add to this but I wondered if I brought it to the top of the pile someone might have any ideas? I have looked at pictures on various websties including RHS, and the difference between the fruit I have and the pictures I have seen for mosaic virus is that my fruit are not mis-shapen or distorted, just some affect on the skin of the fruit. Any thoughts gratefully received.

You don't mention the leaves of the plant; if they look alright it probably isn't CMV.

Thanks Alan and well done for getting the CoMpO or cOmPo bit right

The leaves are find it is just a light brown mottling on the fruit but not severe or distorting the fruit. I won't worry about it any more !!!
