Hi Felix. Yes, the Holderness Road branch. I hadn't heard that Morrisons were taking on staff. It isn't happening here anyhow - we didn't even recruit seasonal staff at Christmas last year. It was last summer when our branch took on new staff. Cheers.
Happy with my lot
Hi Elaine,
I use the Leominster branch of Morrisson's and you can take it from me they a a wonderful crowd of people. Always cheerful and always helpful.
I touched a display to take a ball of garden string and the whole lot of garden long arm pruners came off the display above hit me on the head and knocked my glasses off three weeks ago. They had been displayed on the wrong container and the weight of them bowed it all out and simply shed the lot. Now the very first thing was that the manager gave me an apology and had the offending objects removed from sale.
I have been into the store two weeks running and the girl who initially helped me has asked each time how I am and did I suffer any lasting damage.
I had a letter of apology from the manager.
It could have happened anywhere and nobody was really to blame as they are now displayed on a sturdier bracket which looks very similar to the original one but is sturdy enough to take the weight.
I had a similar thing happen in Tesco's at Ludlow and the staff were to say the least downright insulting. One of their shelves collapsed and the produce went everywhere and it was even suggested that I should be made to pick all the produce and stack it myself.
I do not use Tesco's anywhere now and would simply rather go hungry that buy anything from them.
JB.

So is the one in Cromer.
Do not put off thanking people when they have helped you, as they may not be there to thank later.
