hi just joined and starting to find my way around all the good tips and advise look forward to talking to some of you, im 22 and have a small plot in my garden, which i am currently growing potatoes (in bags) onions, peas, broad beans, carrots, lettuce and a range of other leaf salads

Welcome to the forum. ! I'm sure you'll find lots of help and advice on here from people who have been growing for a long time. But even the 'experts' have failures too from weather, slugs and diseases and none of us know it all so don't get discouraged. Just enjoy the anticipation of picking your own.

thanks, yeah love getting out there and harvesting as love cooking too. yeah had few probs to start with but its gettin thee is there any place where i can post pics to show all of u ?

hi mike, i am from stives in cambridgshire yes we are all beginners once and i am learning new stuff all the time. all i use on the veg plot is the one feed every two weeks,

i only have 1 problem at the moment and that is some of my lettuces are dying and whwn i pull them up the roots have been eaten wats causing this? i use some slug pellets around them and they are netted?

any help would be very appreciated
