bear in mind podiatrists are supposed to be responsible health care professionals... many work in the nhs yet are prepared to publically claim that nurses are crap, post personally abusive commments about anyone daring to question their views, refuse to condem rasist comments, take the piss out of people who admit they have difficulty with spelling... its unbeleivable.

My word, Richard, you do haunt some scary forums - first nudists, now foot people.

Every time they open their mouths, though, they put their foot in it.
But if you want to know what health care professionals really think, you should spend a few hours down the pub with them like I did the other night. Very scary. Don't ever get ill.

I work in the health service and the most
embarrassing thing is going out with colleagues
and they just talk shop - loudly! While a little
bit of black humour releives stress it has to be
in measured quantities and anonymous - you
don't know who is listening and whose relatives
they might be! I personally go out to get away
from work and find it tedious and boring talking
about the same things over and over.
As for other health professionals the over riding
fear of protecting roles so they don't become generic
means instead of uniting to provide a service everyone
is putting up barriers and looking for one upmanship to
prove their worth.
Off my soap box now!

Westi, many years ago when I worked in the docks, we had a rule that when work was mentioned, the person had to buy the next round, problem solved.
