I have several codylines and the one's that I have planted on my allotments are about 10 feet tall. About 2 years the ago the leaves on just one on of the four that I have at the top of my plots started to turn yellow from the bottom upwards and it eventually died. I was never sure if it was poisoned or if it was just a natural occurance, but with the tree only about 5 years old I thought that maybe the former was to blame. This year the chap two plots away has the same thing happening with one of his cordylines that are also at the top of his plot. They are all from the same stock and have all be raised from seed. Is it normal for a mature cordyline to just turn yellow and die or am I right to be suspicious.
Thanks,
Mick W.
