Putting in supports for peas.
I don't mind sowing them, even though it can be quite fiddly spacing them out, but trying to find enough 'pea sticks' to give them some support when they start to grow really frustrates me!
The most tedious job on the allotment.

Weeding. Definitely. My plot was left to go to rack & ruin for 2 years before I took it on and it is absolutely riddled with weeds. I've cleared & dug about ¾ of it but even though I was there on Saturday and hoe'd like my life depended on it, I've just been up there to find it's got even more weeds on it now than when I started on Saturday afternoon.
I've been trying not to use chemicals on the plot since I had it because I want to be as organic as possible but I think the time might have come to get the roundup on it.

Andy - sounds like a nice long holiday under a black polythene duvet would suit part of your plot just fine, at least until you've got the energy to give the whole area a thorough work-over.
