Dear OH,

I guess you will enjoy a rather large omlette tomorrow then

Sorry OH, no sails on a cruise ship

If I believe right, if they have the right cabin, they wont have to do any rowing either!

Hope the hens are well.

The sage and onion comment just reminded me of Dad and his rabbit keeping. He used to feed them with thyme as he said it gave their meat a good flavour. So you never know, it could be M & S's new line - herb flavoured chickens for slimmers - no need for stuffing.

Only 14 eggs today, Old Coger said he was getting between 14 and 19, maybe his feathered friends are missing him. :)

I must admit it does seem quiet without him about.

Peter makes note on Old Codgers security Log.

Today only two days after Old Codger explained carefully to Old Herbaceous how to look after chickens, Herbie has already forgotten that he is meant to feed them every day for them to be able to lay eggs.

Dear OH,

If you don't reappear in the forum tonight, we will know you've decided to have a sleep-over, to keep your eye on them all.

I reckon you will get 18 eggs tomorrow :)
