Thought you all might get a smile from what happened yesterday. My garden waste recycling bin sits by the front gate, (where my neighbour can share it) and is green with a brown lid. Yesterday I wheeled my all-green paper, plastic and tins bin to the gate for emptying by the Council lorry. I then took a bucket full of weeds to the gate - and tipped it into the wrong bin! 'Oh, bother' I thought (or words to that effect), 'now I've got to tip the whole lot on the lawn and sort the weeds out or I shall get a really nasty call from the Council. I opened the bin and there were the weeds, every one of them neatly inside an open cardboard box I had casually thrown in the evening before! Serendipity or what
