Dear Donedigging, we have seen one sun today, what has been very nice after the dull weekend. :)

But we don't ever seem to get your exclusive two suns, i must admit, i feel i'm missing out on something.

Cloudy here too but mild and muggy, had a great weekend on the plot, sowing, tidying up, putting up structures for various plants etc, watering the greenhouse stuff, which is all coming on nicely including french beans, red cabbage and leeks to name but a few!!! The weekend was warm and sunny on the whole and the only problem with the allotments was the peace was shattered a bit with three rotavators on the go on such a small site, but it has to be done so not complaining!!!

If I am not on the plot, I am not happy.........

But i'm sure it will brighten up later. :)

Cold damp grey start today..woolly hat weather at first...

At 12noon-ish it suddenly brightened and warmed up markedly..to shirt sleeves...(if sheltered from East wind).
This improvement brought us in a reasonable amount of visitors...

Lawnmowing this morning...Pea sowing and Arran Pilot potato planting this afternoon.

....And Kestrel tateys planted at home this evening...

Clive.

Decent weather in Brum. over the Easter period, chilly mornings and lovely afternoons a bad thunder and lightening storm this morning and some rain but I was tucked up in bed at the time.
Yesterday I was on the plot sowing my peas (Batchelors bigga peas I did soak them first) and some beetroot, I had a day off today from gardening and went to the Memorial Arboretum at Alrewas.
Weather permitting tomorrow back on the plot getting ready to plant out cabbages.
