Just to let you all know, for those who like to buy extra soil conditioner (or composted material as most of us know it!), Aldi have it for sale from Monday 13th (bank holiday though so maybe the next day) at £1.99 per bag. Like many of us, I never manage to make enough and always end up buying extra, and at my local garden centre it's priced at £14.99 for 3 bags, so the Aldi price I think is really good. I only bought 3 bags from Aldi last year, which weren't enough so this time I'm buying a lot more!

For those who haven't used any of Aldi's special offers before, they only have so much and, as the saying goes, when it's gone, it's gone!

Hope this is of interest to some of you.

Cheers all :D :D

Well I've been to Aldi and bought my 14 bags of soil conditioner - couldn't get any more in the trolley, it was piled high, and they were in danger of collapsing all over everywhere! A bit tricky to manoevre back to the car too, but managed it in the end and happily all now stashed away on the lottie, ready for whenever I need it over the next year, til the next time they are selling it! Cheers everybody! :D

Morning AdeTheSpade, i was just wondering what the bags of soil conditioner actually contained, is it just compost or some magic potion that we should all be trying.? :)
Kind Regards, Old Herbaceous.
