Thank You John Boy :D

I work in Elderly Medicine so I am always reminded how
young I am by the patients. The question is though when
does one get 'old'? Is it physical, mental or statistical?

There are times on Lottie that I feel very old with all the
digging, very young with the first shoots showing or staying
out in a rain shower, sometimes wise when I can answer a
newbies question and then you get the flyers through the
door to advertise Saga hols or a pension update and the like
just to put you back in reality.

I feel young now, will be youger later after a couple of wines
and I expect definately older tomorrow!

Happy Birthday :D

I can see a lot of this in the future with that new "Birthdays" section that seems to have sneaked in from somewhere.

Well spotted Johnboy.

A very happy Birthday from me too Westi, hope you can do something special before you are too old. :)

When did this section appear then Chantal?
I have mentioned a section for this before, but i think it fell upon stoney ground.
We will all have to register our Birthdays now, so we can wish each other congratlations of the day, especially for those that would rather not be reminded.
Kind Regards, Old Herbaceous.

Happy birthday Westo. :D

This probably came in with the forum update and Westi's is I would guess, the first happening of a birthday corressponding to a person who had actually put in their full birthdate at registration.

But surely the board would still have been there, even if it didn't have a birthday listed :? It's ages since the update.

Can someone tell me how we know it's a birthday. I seem to have missed out on this.

Hi Tigger,
Earlier on in the day, at the base of the Board Index, it said Happy Birthday Westi (51). It is no longer displayed as it is now into Monday morning and no sign which mentions birthdays. Eeeeerie aaaaint it!

I just tested this out by changing my date of birth in my profile. The birthday board came back and said "Happy Birthday Chantal", so that's the answer, it's triggered by the dates of birth. :D
