Ok, I wouldn't normally ask but it's an emergency.

A friends daughter who lives in Atlanta has run away from home. She's 14 years old. She may be heading to the New York or LA area on the greyhound bus.

Do any posters on here chat to anyone in those areas at all. If so I can put up a link with the childs photograph and contact details for her parents.

Again, she's 14 years old, not streetwise, and is running angry and scared....I'm just trying to think of a way to help my very good friend find her daughter.

Thanks chaps
Lots of love

Lizzie,

My own daughter Amanda, lives in Peachtree City, Atlanta. Probably not much help if your friends daughter has already headed off but she has a daughter of 16, again not the same age but slim chance they may have been at the same school.
Only too pleased to pass on any info in case anyone has heard anything if it would help.

Beryl.

Thanks Beryl

She has been found safe and well in New York getting off the bus and the police have taken her into protective custody until she returns to her family who are driving to pick her up.

Thanks again.........I know her mum is so pleased with all the help and support she's had in helping to find Marianne
Lots of love

Morning Lizzie, glad everything has turned out well, and lets hope they can get the underlying problem sorted out to.
Kind Regards, Old Herbaceous.

I hope so Herby..............turns out she'd been planning it for months. Luckily, the parents managed to bully the staff at the bus station to look at the cctv. Then, through their church, they used contacts to get the police involved.

So, at least she's safe and they can start to work things out

lody kids eh.......

It must be pretty tough being a kid these days, so many temptations, parents working all hours and not having enough time to just listen, some kids having everything whilst others have nothing, pretty tough indeed.

And i'm not judging anyone by the way,
Kind Regards, Old Herbaceous.
