It looks quite magical outside at the moment, snow everywhere with the moon light shimmering of it.

But i think it is going to be a cold night for everything living out of doors.

Morning all, i had a notice put through the door yesterday saying the water will be off Wednesday due to flushing of the water mains.

Nothing funny in that, but as it goes down the list of things to do and not to do, it comes to where it says, If you have fishponds or tanks, you are advised to not to fill or change the water within 48 hoursof the work being carried out.

Now can any one tell me why this should be, apart from what ever they use is fairly harmful stuff, and why it's only fish that will be affected, or is it.

Perhaps it would only affect you if you spent 48 hours immersed in water

Seriously, I have no idea what they're doing :?

As well as St Valentine, today is also the feast day of Кѷриллъ и Меѳодїи Saints Cyril and Methodius.

Just imagine sending your loved-one a card begging them to be your Cyril and Methodius
