Good Morning everyone and hello Old Codger nice to hear from you :) Sorry about the troll bit but as others on here said you lived in a cave that was the first thing I thought of,my apologies

My hubby is a country bumpkin by birth and although I am a Townie have lived in the country side for the last 29 years so class myself as nearly a country bumpkin

Have you got an allotment like OH or do you just watch him slaving away on his plot growing all those beautiful veggies?

Donedigging, sorry that your seeds were all messed up but us ladies do like a tidy house and can't be doing with seed packets cluttering up the place

Well,I have to go and bury Punky today in the garden now that the wet stuff has had a break, though at the moment we have sparkly paths so will have to see what the ground is like.I am going to bury her near one of our conifers so that she can rest in peace without being disturbed.

Hope you all have a great day in all that you do and will perhaps speak later :)

Dear Smallweed, i think you may find that Donedigging is the attractive lady of the house, and it was her husband that was keeping things tidy.
Kind Regards, Old Herbaceous.

  sorry Donedigging my apologies,it is just that usually it is the ladies that are tidy and the men untidy.I think I am going to have to spend time reading up on everyone or give them a good shake to see whether they rattle or not

Good morning OH hope you slept well and are looking forward to another new day. :)

I should wrap up warmly if you are all venturing outside today as it is a tad nippy out there :|

Dear Smallweed, i hope you managed to get Punky buried O.K, at least she had a good life while she was in your care.

I hope you're not feeling too sad.
Kind Regards, Old Herbaceous.

Good Evening Smallweed.

I also hope Punky was layed to rest peacefully today.

Also, no need for any apology from yourself, I thought it was quite amusing though  :D

Hi Smallweed,
Perhaps you've noticed that though they both thrive in Beds, OH is superior to OC - he lives in BEAUTIFUL Beds! :D

As far as I'm aware they both have beautiful beds on adjacent allotments

Good evening everyone sorry to be late but i have just spent thirty minutes trying to get onto this site :!: :!: I keep having a pop up that says signal strength is excellent but everything is running so slow.I have been tearing my hair out just trying to get on here.I had no problems earlier today though I did forget to log out  :o

I just hope I can get this post to work when I come to post it. :?

Punky has been laid to rest and when I visited my friend today she had to have her elderly dog put down yesterday as well so we were both feeling rather down today

I hope you all have a good evening and I do hope that I can get on here tomorrow morning :)

Hi there, Smallweed.
Welcome to the forum. It looks like you've met nearly everyone already :D
Just for the record, what part of Northamptonshire are you in? One of these days someone else from my allotment site (near Towcester) will turn up on here - but with our usernames we may never recognise each other!
