Called out to a breakdown on Tuesday night and passed several lorries parked up in lay-bys,curtains pulled over their cab windows with,I guess, the driver fast asleep in his bunk.
On some of these lorries the back doors to the trailer were wide open. Why?Is it to prove to any would-be thief/hijacker that there is nothing in the trailer worth ripping off?
It is not the first time I"ve noticed this.Is there a lorry driver in the forum who knows why?

Dear Snooky, i'm no lorry driver, but you are quite correct.
When i first saw this, i was going to wake the driver up and tell him he had had his load nicked, somehow i don't think he would have been too pleased.

Kind Regards, Old Herbaceous.
