Different kinds of rice

Has anyone else tried the different kinds of rice that are available. We tended to use Basmati rice because we do alot of veggie curries, and bolognaise sauces so I found some Ermese Red Rice in M&S a few months ago and it sat in the cupboard as it usually does until there is nothing left to use. The other night we tried it with a vegetable Dhansak it was absolutely fabulous. I can highly recommend it, so nutty and tasty. Today because we had run out of rice I've been and bought some more and also some Artemide black rice to try. It says on the label that it goes well with chicken and fish so we will see what it is like.
