Little things please little minds, you see! Actually, I usually only have the computer on for a short time every day and then mostly during the Archers on the radio. My husband can't stand listening to them, I have been a fan for more than a half century, so I listen to them whilst being hold up in the "office". Tonight we are visiting family, hence the earlier time.

Morning all, had a little thing happen yesterday that didn't please a little mind.

The plumber was disconnecting the bathroom suite for me, that had already had the wastes cut off.
But flushed the toilet and had the bath running to drain the system, so i ended up with with quite few gallons of water running through the ceiling and out of the light and socket fittings.
Also all over the tumble drier and washing machine and then under the grand entrance hall carpet.

All rather trying i must say, but accidents do happen.

On the bright side he hadn't actually used the toilet, well i hope not.

I hope he doesn't try charging me for a water feature.
Kind Regards, Old Herbaceous.

You just can't get the staff these days, OH.
I hope it isn't too difficult to clear up, and causes no lasting damage. :?

OH Sorry to hear of your mishap hope not too much damage done, not the best time of year to have wet carpets lying around indoors, enough of wet outside.

Dear Snooky, it is very rare that i swear, and it takes something very serious for me to have an outburst.

So a little mishap such as this, just didn't seem to warrant it. :)
Although it was panic stations for a minute or two, especially when all the electrics tripped out.
Kind Regards, Old Herbaceous.

I take it Polish plumbers haven't reached Bedfordshire. Perhaps they were Australians doing things upside down. Can't help thinking water off, drain everything, disconnect drains, does seem a pretty obvious sequence.
