Well here in Carmarthenshire the mean temperature for the year to date is now below that for the whole of last year! And with 203 days of rain this year compared with 194 in the whole of last and the rainfall totals being almost equal it has certainly been a pretty dull and miserable year. What are the chances of a long, hard winter?

Dear Colin, i must admit even i don't know the answer to that.

And the plants and trees certainly seem to be confused.
Kind Regards, Old Herbaceous.

Glorious day in Llanelli today.Sun shining,a light crisp wind;a good day to do some digging, but, alas I was in work!!
Not to worry, one day to go and I then have eight days off and depending on what my good wife has planned for me and provided the weather is mostly like todays, then the digging of the allotments will soon be done.

P.S.Llanelli is in Carmarthenshire-they do get their good days :D as we do in Glamorgan :D :D
Regards snooky
