Hi Snooky,
At first glance you think fine. But when you consider that I can buy 9000 Little Gem Lettuce seeds for £2.55 commercially and Attico split pills
5000 for £50.00 which is all this lot are doing buying at commercial and selling on.
It actually means on Little Gem they will take £90.00
and on Attico £150. Also you have to pay £1.50 per order which is another ramp.
I appreciate that you may want small quantities but
People like D T BROWN are not that expensive and you get a better choice of varieties.
As Alan says with certain seeds like Rocket they are way over the top. Commercially Rocket is 700 seeds to the gram and 25 grams cost £2.40.(17500 seeds) So what cost them £2.40.they are selling in this case for £175.00. Now all they need is a load of mugs to buy!

Hi Alan & JB,
Points taken,I understand now how these people work, but it may be worth a punt if someone wanted small amounts of seeds but not the smaller seeds quoted in your examples.
The larger bean, squash, sweetcorn, cucumber etc look better value, not peas though, especially if your space is limited or if you want to experiment with a different variety.
It seems that all seed companies charge for delivery these days, except for possibly Park Seeds.
Another argument for another day!
Regards...snooky.

Dear Snooky, it was still very worth while putting that seed company on, as it gives others an idea of price variation and also they might have a variety that other companies don't stock.
Kind Regards, Old Herbaceous.
